When necessary, the office offers sedation using the safest and most advanced methods, provided by a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist.

Dr. Navid Mehdipour brings sunshine to every smile! With over 20 years of dental experience and a lifelong passion for caring for children, he loves helping young patients feel happy, safe, and confident at the dentist—even on cloudy days or during dental emergencies.
Dr. Mehdipour earned his dental degree in Iran and later completed advanced training along with a Master of Public Health at A.T. Still University School of Dentistry in Arizona. He moved to Santa Rosa three years ago, drawn to the community where his wife was born and raised.
Dr. Mehdipour believes that healthy smiles help kids shine brighter and is dedicated to building strong teeth and positive dental habits that last a lifetime. With his warm smile and gentle, calming approach, he turns dental visits into sunny experiences. Children feel relaxed, parents feel reassured, and every smile leaves glowing. At Sunshine Children’s Dentistry, Dr. Mehdipour is proud to make every visit a bright step toward a healthy, happy smile.
